The winery has a long wine-growing tradition. Founded in 1790, many generations have devoted themselves to wine production. Our winery is still run as a family business. Starting with a short pruning, through ecologically conscious cultivation of the vineyard throughout the year, to the optimal harvest time, excellent grape ripeness should be ensured. Careful cellar technology guarantees products that are typical for the variety, location and vintage. The range extends from sparkling wines to full-bodied selections.

Depending on the location, our vineyards are mainly planted with Neuburger, Rotgipfler, Rheinriesling, Zierfandler and Traminer. Blue Portugieser and Blue Burgundy have proven themselves as red wine varieties. Since we regard quality as the primary goal, we pay just as strict attention to the degree of ripeness of the grapes, the must weight and the acid value. An appropriate storage time in well-tempered cellars leads to well-rounded, harmonious products for both the wines and the sparkling wine. We always try to keep the peculiarities of varieties and vintage and look forward to be able to serve you the highest quality.
